June 26 & 27, 2027
What is on, and where to find it
Talks, workshops, station hours, and a map of the field. Nothing here is a ticketed session — turn up to whatever catches your eye.
This is a working draft
The 2027 programme is still being assembled. Times will shift, speakers are still being confirmed, and the open slots below are genuinely open — if one of them looks like yours, propose a talk.
Talks in the education tent
Forty-five minutes each, including questions. Aimed at people who are new unless marked otherwise. Just turn up and sit down — there is no sign-up and no charge.
Hands-on workshops
Drop-in unless a session says otherwise. Materials provided. The soldering bench is genuinely suitable for complete beginners, including children.
Station operating hours
The contest period runs from 11:00 AM Saturday to 2:00 PM Sunday. Stations run continuously through the night — the overnight hours are quieter on site and busier on the air.
| Station | Bands | Hours | Visitors welcome? |
|---|---|---|---|
| SSB / Phone | 80 · 40 · 20 · 15 · 10 m | Continuous, Sat 11:00 → Sun 14:00 | Yes — easiest one to follow |
| CW / Morse | 80 · 40 · 20 · 15 m | Continuous | Yes, but please keep voices low |
| Digital | 40 · 20 · 15 · 6 m | Continuous | Yes — best seen after dark |
| GOTA | Whatever is open | Daylight hours, coach on duty | Yes — this one is for you |
| VHF / Satellite | 6 · 2 m · 70 cm · satellites | Scheduled around passes | Yes — ask for the next pass time |
Operating a station is open to any licensed amateur. See the stations and claim a shift
The weekend at a glance
The rhythm of the event, from an empty field on Friday to an empty field on Sunday evening.
Where everything is
Select a marker for details. The layout is finalised once the 2027 venue is confirmed, but the arrangement is much the same every year: operating tents in the middle, antennas at the edges, and food where everybody ends up anyway.
The schedule lands in your inbox first
When the site is confirmed and the talk line-up is locked, the mailing list hears before the website is updated.
